Indifference

Indifference to the evil around oneself is goodness of heart. Indifference to the evil within oneself is ignorance.

Today, people try to know the evil that surrounds them, and ignore the evil within themselves.

When I think of riddles in my life, I find it impossible that any other human being could be free from such thoughts. How can people not think the things I think?

Alas, we are drowning in this sea of irrelevance which has erased distinction between nature and evil.

    how can people not think the things you think > well why should they ? perhaps you should look within you and ask yourself that ?
    I am not trying to have a go at you or anything , just we should never expect anything from people we will always be setting ourselves up for dissapointment.

    Actually some are more connected with their evil and some are not. I’ve done an experiment once in which I used to say shocking stuff to the most innocent looking person and the results were pretty interesting. Some get so shocked that wouldn’t speak to me for a long time and some just grinned and took it in a stride.

    Evil exists in everyone, some are just unaware of it.
    Thats my two penny for your post :P

    “Indifference to the evil around oneself is goodness of heart.” How come? No, indifference to any form of evil, both within and around, cannot be good.

    It is but natural that one wants to shy away from facing the evil within oneself, ‘that’ requires a sort of courage. If you are kind, you would rather hope and pray (if you are the praying type, that people may never have to face that evil.

    Hey, I never hit the submit comment button, it clicked by itself! But so be it… I just have to add that not people but individuals, in my experience, prove to be extraordinary when provoked to think. Tne better you expect from people the better they perfom. One ’should’ expect the best from people and not be daunted by the possibility of disappointment.

    Risky, but Clever ;] Thnx for the tip…

    @Stinger:

    “Indifference to the evil around oneself is goodness of heart…”

    I’d rather call that innocence… to not be able to recognize the worst in people… sadly though, in today’s world, the real word would be: stupidity!

    Innocence is a curse…
